YES, the manufacturer’s warranty is valid for 12 months on the work carried out.
YES, but magnetic particle testing cannot be carried out on reused gearing parts. If unforeseeable reworking of the gear housing or other components is necessary, it will be carried out with customer support.
Approx. 12-16 weeks, depending on the scope of repair and capacity utilization. A shaft seal and complete roller bearing replacement takes about 5 weeks, more extensive repairs usually take between 12 and 16 weeks.
We can organize collection and delivery of the gearbox. The transportation costs are borne by the customer
Delivery conditions according to FCA (Incoterms 2010) In the case of delivery after repair, customs clearance in Austria is handled by the supplier; the shipping company takes over the goods declared for export. Customs clearance in the customer’s country is the responsibility of the customer. A temporary import of the gearbox for repair is recommended. After repair, the goods are delivered with the original plate (serial number etc.) and an overhaul plate.
If the problem has been described in detail by the customer and documented with photos, the remote diagnosis is sufficient for determining the estimated repair costs. Final reliable assessment including magnetic particle crack detection takes place in our factory. The results of the final assessment are handed over to the customer in the form of a report.
YES, but the assembly of a gearbox is very comprehensive and should therefore always be carried out by specialist personnel. You need special tools and of course the know-how to adjust everything correctly. Small errors often only become noticeable months later and lead to further unplanned downtime and expensive repair work. In the case of self-assembly, there is no warranty.
No problem! Simply send us the broken part and we will make a sample.
Exclusively in Austria
A lot of special tools are required to restore the original quality. In addition to the right measuring instruments and other tools, a broad knowledge of gearbox construction is also essential.
80% of gearbox failures are directly related to the lubricants. Correct selection and specifications must be observed, as well as compliance with the oil change intervals according to the manufacturer’s specifications. It is also advisable to check the lubricants regularly in order to detect wear, water content, particles, etc. in good time.
Checking the running noise, temperature and lubricant allows early action to prevent major damage to the gearing.
YES, special tools have been developed for this purpose. Sensors can be retrofitted, usually as part of an overhaul. This gives you an efficient early warning system.
It is mainly the broken gearing parts that make up the bulk of a repair. Timely replacement of the rolling bearings can prevent this (usually at around 35,000 to 40,000 operating hours).
In addition to the right choice of material and composition, great importance is attached to the correct design and calculation of the safety factors (fatigue strength) – we are working in the µ range (0.001 mm) here. Bending and torsion are taken into account accordingly.
The manufacturer’s warranty is valid for 12 months on the work carried out.
As precision technology is required for a repair, professional regeneration of the screws cannot be carried out on site.
Approx. 7 weeks, depending on the scope of repair and production capacity; the delivery time of new manufactured screws and barrels is approx. 15 calender weeks
The transportation costs are borne by the customer.
Delivery conditions FCA (Incoterms 2010) Defective screws (and barrels if regenerable) are provided by the customer for repair. In the case of delivery after repair, customs clearance in Austria is handled by the supplier, the forwarding agent takes over the goods declared for export. Customs clearance in the customer’s country is the responsibility of the customer. Temporary import of the process units for repair is recommended. After repair, the goods are delivered with the original label (serial number etc.).
Normally, wear measurements are carried out regularly in-house by trained personnel. We are happy to perform this service at the customer’s request. By appointment, one of our technicians will come to measure the screws and barrels. It is important to clarify the number and types of parts to be measured in advance and to provide the parts cleaned for measurement. You will then receive the measurement reports and a recommendation for repair, if necessary.
We can offer various screw designs including coatings (Mo, chrome, tungsten carbide, etc.) and special treatments (e.g. web armoring, bimetal) depending on requirements and customer wishes. Our experts will advise you and decide together with you which solution makes the most sense for you, depending on the material and the conditions under which it is processed.
In this case, a one-off measurement of the original parts (screws) is required, even if they are worn to a certain extent. This measurement can preferably take place at our factory or at the customer’s premises. Travel costs must be charged here.
The ratio between material and machining costs changes depending on the size and design. Wear protection or additional coating increases the proportion of machining costs.
By repairing in good time. If the wear on screws is less than 1.5 mm in diameter, the repair is considerably cheaper than with higher wear, as the coating is easier.
