The condition of the screws and barrels should be monitored at regular intervals or at least annually by means of wear measurements. Regular wear measurements are essential in order to prevent unexpected production downtimes. Early detection of wear enables cost-efficient repairs.
On request we can take over on-site measurements and discuss the optimal solution in case of deviations from the specified parameters. If available, the customer´s technicians can handle the wear measurements of the screw pairs.

In an emergency you simply can send us the damaged screws without a wear report. After checking the wear and depending on the condition of the screws we inform you whether a repair is possible or advise you to replace the screws
